Special Shout out to our Dick's Sporting Goods Player of the week, Leighton Howard. A multi-sport athlete who continues to get better, season after season. He started by hitting off the Tee in baseball, then to coach pitch, and now to kid pitch (Which is the hardest btw) where he has a whopping .500 batting average. The skill development has been great, but persistence and effort are what we were looking for this week. Leighton checks all the boxes as an athlete who always shows up and gives his full effort. He is now reaping the rewards of all that hard work. We are so lucky to have him in our sports program leading the way for those who are starting where he once was. Stand up Leighton, you sir are a machine, and nothing in this world will be able to stop you. You have made every sport, every coach, every teammate, and the entire league here, so proud of you! Keep up the amazing work and your future to be a champion at anything you wish to do is already set in stone.
