TBI Hope Thrivers Support Group
Hi TBI Hope Thrivers! I’m Karen Menz, TBI Health Coach Lady. As a survivor with 10+ years of recovery, I created the Life After TBI Coaching Program.
Now it is your turn to recover, rebuild, and renew life after TBI. TBI is hard enough but what if You could just be able to communicate and actually do the once easy things that are complicated and challenging again without fear of being hurt.
I've been working on a small resource for anyone who needs a gentler way to pause and check in with themselves.
The Free Starter Toolkit is a first look at the brain-friendly approach behind The Sustainable Recovery Blueprint™. It can help you notice what is taking the most energy, name what feels difficult right now, and choose one realistic next step.
I created it for TBI survivors, veterans, and caregivers—and I'm sharing it free because beginning should not feel like another burden.
If this sounds like the kind of support you need, you can take a quiet first look here: https://link.clickbyclick.ca/sp/aec6a4da577
There is more to come, but this is a good place to begin.

A win is still a win, even when no one else saw how much effort it required.
Your win may be taking a short walk, making a phone call, preparing a meal, attending an appointment, asking for help, resting before overload, or choosing peace during a difficult moment. Recovery is built from these often-unseen decisions. Let us create a space where small progress receives the recognition it deserves.

Over the next two weeks, I'll be sharing something close to my heart: three gentle, practical recovery resources created for TBI survivors, veterans, and caregivers.
I know recovery can feel like a lot, so I designed each resource to meet you at a different starting point—from a free first step, to a seven-day journal, to a deeper 12-week pathway.
I'm not revealing everything today. For now, I simply want you to know that support is coming—without pressure, judgment, or the expectation to do recovery perfectly.
Tomorrow, I'll share the first free resource. I hope it gives you a softer place to begin.

A good friend does not shame someone for needing rest, quiet, reminders, or extra time.
Brain Injury can change energy, communication, memory, and social comfort. Supportive friends stay curious instead of critical. They learn what helps, respect limits, adjust plans when needed, and continue offering kindness without making the Survivor feel like a burden. Presence does not have to be perfect to be meaningful.
