Today's project was to replace a failed 30" culvert on the north end of Will George Road with a 60". I'm pretty sure that old culvert was fully depreciated! We spent almost a week fixing the class IV section of Mayotte and Will George roads. We also set the poles for our bridge project on October 3rd.

Today we kicked off trail improvements for 2026. Installed two 30" culverts and six water bars per the request of the landowner. This will be a huge improvement for us as well and we like it when we can work with the landowners in a mutually beneficial manner.

VAST is governed by 14 County Directors and tries to stay out of politics. But this statement says it all....Repeal Act 181 as the impact on rural Vermont is unbearable. Thank you VAST Board for taking this stand.
