While summer is a break for some, it’s another opportunity to get better last week #23 Harper Henderson spent a day at the GVSU Softball Camp continuing to sharpen her skills, compete, and learn from the next level. Every rep, every lesson, and every opportunity adds up. Keep grinding Harper!

Happy Belated Birthday to #17 Ivy Wilcox. She is one of the kindest teammates you could ever ask for. Ivy has a heart of gold, always making sure everyone feels included and always cheering on her teammates whether she’s on the field, in the dugout, or in the stands. Her positivity is contagious, and she brings out the best in everyone around her. Her work ethic speaks for itself. Ivy continues to put in the time, effort, and dedication to become a better softball player every single day. She shows up ready to work, ready to learn, and ready to compete. Happy Birthday!!

Last Tuesday, Claire Beatty took advantage of an opportunity to get more reps in at a Ferris State camp. She spent the day sharpening her skills, competing in games, and showcasing the hard work she puts in behind the scenes. Behind the plate, Claire made her presence known by throwing runners out and showing off the strong arm and defensive skills that make her such a force as a catcher.
