Come out to the Post at 9AM tomorrow for VETERANS COFFEE TALK. Great info, great camaraderie, and a great way to meet and talk with fellow VETERANS. If you served in one of our nation's conflicts and are interested in joining our Post, bring your DD214 with you. If you have VA claims questions, we'll be available to assist.

Break out your parachute pants, leg warmers, and Members Only jackets! The Post is going back to the 80's on August 23rd and you're invited! This totally rad event features Music by DJ Erin, with Jen serving your favorites. There's a best dressed contest and best decorated table contest. Do NOT miss this blast to the past! It'll be totally b-tchin' !

There's 3 days left to sign up for thefreedom13.org Memorial Ride. You can even sign up the morning of the ride. We're in the home stretch for one of the biggest rides in the Midwest.
Open to cars, trucks, Jeeps, and bikes, this year's ride/drive marks the 5 year anniversary of the 13 killed at Abbey gate at the Hamid Karzai Airport in Afghanistan.
Post 4105 is proudly one of the 13 launch points. Our local favorite, Mann Meats will be there, along with other food and drink trucks, and so will SUPERJAM.
We'll meet at the Post at 10AM on Saturday, KSU at 11AM.

This Friday August 14, our wonderful Auxiliary will be serving Meatloaf and Chicken Fried Steaks 4p-7p or until sold-out. We hope to see you at the Post.

MARY E WALKER was an American Civil War surgeon who volunteered for the Union Army as a contract surgeon. Dr. Walker crossed enemy lines to treat wounded soldiers and civilians when she was captured and imprisoned for 4 months by the Confederate Army in 1864.
In 1865 Dr. Mary E WALKER became and is the only woman awarded the Medal of Honor.
Today, we honor Mary WALKER, and all of the 3,552 total Medal of Honor recipients, to include the 65 currently living, Missouri's 77, and St Louis' 15. Thank you to those who's service and sacrifice we honor today.
