Winnebagoland Musky Club thru the Musky Clubs Alliance of Wisconsin are selling boat raffle tickets. These revenue from these tickets are a main source of club funds to support our yearly goals. Stocking Muskies, helping local veterans, donating to charities and supporting area youth are just some of those yearly club projects. Wisconsin Musky Report Musky Fishing Lake Winnebago Junkies Musky Fishing North America

Last night's meeting featuring Wisconsin DNR Fisheries Biologist Mark Baldock was both informative and insightful. Mark provided a detailed overview of the current status of the Fox Lake fishery and the management efforts being undertaken to ensure its long-term success.

With the support of the Winnebagoland Musky Club, 200 PIT-tagged muskies will be stocked into Fox Lake this fall. While the club has contributed to the stocking of 200 muskies annually for several years, this will be the first year these fish will be equipped with Passive Integrated Transponder (PIT) tags. This advancement will provide valuable data to help better understand fish growth, survival, and movement within the fishery.

Mark has also collected two years of netting data on the adult musky population in Fox Lake. This year's survey produced an impressive 50-inch musky, demonstrating the positive results of ongoing management efforts. By combining the information gathered from existing population surveys with future data collected from the PIT-tagged stocked fish, the DNR will be able to make informed decisions that will help maintain and improve the quality of the fishery for years to come.
Initiatives like this highlight the importance of the club's fundraising efforts. The support of our members and sponsors allows us to invest directly in projects that benefit our local fisheries through stocking, research, and conservation.

We greatly appreciate the time, dedication, and hard work Mark has invested in Fox Lake and look forward to seeing the continued progress of this outstanding fishery.
