Can you say “yes” to these 8 habits?

Tim Ferriss, the Author of the 4 Hour Body and many other fantastic works, once said, “if you can’t say “hell yes” then it’s a no.

So if you can’t answer “yes” to the following with a 100% certainty, it’s a no…

Do you drink half your bodyweight in ounces of water/day.. Everyday?

Do you have veggies with all your meals? Breakfast too? Weekends?

Ladies, do you get at least 125g of protein/day? Men 150g/day? (these are beginner targets)

Do you write down 3 things you’re grateful for everyday?

Do you have less than 10g of added sugar/day? Less than 100g/week?

Do you have less than 2-3 alcoholic beverages/month? (I said what I said lol)

Do you train with a coach, with purpose and intensity 3 sessions/week, 12 sessions/month?

Do you get more than 7 hours of sleep/night, or more than 35 sleep cycles a week? (a normal sleep cycle is 90 minutes, therefore averaging 7.5 hours/night)

Getting ruthlessly consistent with these 8 habits will transform your health, fitness, and performance.

Within the first 2 weeks of these habits, nearly everyone experiences a change in their energy levels.

In the first month clothes start to fit differently.

Within the next month, you start to notice life seems a little easier… there’s less friction, fighting, going to play with the kids isn’t a chore.

And with in the first 3 months, other folks start to notice. They say things like “wow, what have you been doing?!” or “you seem different, happier?”

The Back to School transition is the PERFECT time to implement new healthy habits!

That way they become baked into your lifestyle.

And the Back to School Challenge does exactly that!

When’s the BEST Time to Start Working Out?

The longer you spend around exercise, performance, fitness, working out, etc it becomes less and less about WHAT you’re doing, and more and more about ARE you doing it?!

You’ve heard us say it before, the best type of exercise is what you’ll do regularly.

The best time of day is the time that it’s going to get done.

And the best time of year to get started is now.

But you already knew I was going to say that.

With nearly 2 decades of data to back it up, folks who get started in August and September have the BEST results in their body composition, performance, fitness and other goals over the long haul.

Even though it’s one of the craziest transitions of the year (back to school season), if you can build it into your routine now, it only gets easier from here!

And we’re here to support you with that!

The Back To School Challenge Launches soon with brand new meal prep and grocery shopping tools!

If you’ve been putting off working out this summer, or want to try something new, now’s the time!

Reply BACK TO SCHOOL for more information on the schedule, large and small group personal training, and details on the Back to School 6 Week Challenge!

Middle School Athletes and Parents, Read This!

Over the last 2 years and THOUSANDS of speed and power tests, there’s one trend that stands out most.

Athletes who train in season become SIGNIFICANTLY faster.

Numbers like adding 4mph over an 18 month period!

And those athletes who take breaks during their sport seasons.

They come back slower.

As parents, we get it. Seasons are only getting busier, but we have to consider the message we’re sending our kids…

… we’re reinforcing the “rat race” of chasing and pushing harder in life, but not prioritizing our own health and performance.

You know it as well as I do, there will be times life is crazy, but it doesn’t mean that we can give up on our own workouts, our families, or making sure we continue to get better ourselves!

So whether it’s because of life lessons, or simply performance, we want to help in what ways we can.

That’s why as you enter your fall seasons, we’re opening up a 6am Monday and Wednesday Middle School athlete session!

Even just 1 session a week is enough to maintain all that work you put in this summer! And these times will be added to all the sessions you already have available.

For more information on when they start, just reply or comment Middle School Mornings!

This is a tough one for all of us.

Help us wish farewell and good luck to Coach Joe as he wraps up this summer and continues on with his commissioning!

We have high expectations and a high standard for anyone who wants to step into the role of ‘Coach’ in our building.

You must care and sincerely want to help every person who walks through the door.

You gotta have the knowledge to instruct exercise, to know why, when, and how we apply training, manage the flow and energy of the room, have a desire to never stop learning.

You’re gonna show up before the crack of dawn, work a long ass day, then leave with just enough time to sleep for a while.

And you gotta give your best effort, every single time you step onto the floor.

Joe has stepped up to the line every time we asked.

Thank you for your help! And for your service! 🇺🇸

Fair winds and following seas!

There’s still time to enter to win the Year of Free Training, check the link in the bio!

My daughter very much enjoys athlete camp here at TNT. She is challenged and enjoys seeing her monthly progress through testing. Watching performance measures change reflects the work she and her coaches are putting in. The environment is fun and supportive and she looks forward to going each week. Her sessions at TNT are helping her to work toward her AAA hockey goals.
