New parking amenities planned for Fort Myers Beach!

The Lee Board of County Commissioners has approved funding for improvements at the former Seafarer’s Mall property at 1113 Estero Blvd., across from Crescent Beach Family Park.

The $163,200 project will add paid parking for up to 56 bicycles and 29 golf carts, along with a drinking fountain and space for the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Outreach Center.

The project will be funded through Tourist Development Tax reserves, Lee County General Funds and Sheriff’s Office funding.

A timeline for the improvements is still being determined.

We’re excited to see another investment in Fort Myers Beach take shape!
