Another great week is in the books at the Old Orange renovation, and with each passing week, the course is starting to look more like a golf course again.

One of the most noticeable changes right now is the return of green across the property. The sprigged areas continue to establish, and we’re beginning to see the grass spread and “crawl” into surrounding areas where fill-in is needed. Watching the transformation take shape has been especially exciting.

We’ve also reached another key milestone—mowing has begun in select areas where conditions allow. While summer weather continues to play a major role in timing, getting equipment back on the course is an important step in the grow-in process.

The construction team has now entered the final phase of the renovation. They are working through the remaining punch list items and, if everything stays on schedule, plan to demobilize and be off property around July 25.

Thank you for your continued patience and support throughout this process. Each week brings us closer to reopening a fully restored Old Orange course that will deliver exceptional playing conditions for years to come.

Dear Verandah Club Members,
The River House will be closed from July 6 through July 9, 2026. With both golf courses also being closed during this time, we have a great opportunity to focus on several projects throughout both the River House and the Golf House with minimal disruption to our members.
During the closure, our teams will be completing a variety of projects, including deep cleaning, IT upgrades, facility repairs, and general maintenance. This dedicated time will allow us to complete work that is difficult to accomplish during normal operations as there are some larger projects that we want to attend to.

We appreciate your understanding and support during this temporary closure. These improvements are an investment in the overall quality and appearance of our facilities, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back in the River House on Friday July 10, 2026, at 3:00 PM.

We are organizing a very casual indoor Co****le open play session on July 12th in the main dining area and will assess interest levels to determine the feasibility of creating a tournament or league.

🍇Members, enjoy a fun and interactive wine experience designed for both beginners and seasoned wine and food lovers!

Thursday, July 30 | 4-6PM
📍River House

Guests will enjoy eight creative amuse-bouche bites paired with two wine options for each bite. Using guidance from a sommelier throughout the afternoon, participants will choose which wine they believe is the best pairing.

After each round, the sommelier will reveal the correct answer and explain why the pairing works, helping Guests better understand the fundamentals of wine pairing in an approachable and engaging way.
