Winchester Gun Club

Today was the beginning of our next big improvement project here at Wi******er Gun Club!! Thanks to a grant petition by our friends at the Union Grove Broncos Shooting Club, we were able to secure funding from the MidwayUSA Foundation for a new combination trap & s***t field!! A big thank you to our good buddy, Tom Lee, for bringing in the right equipment today to remove our five stand trailer! Your dedication to improving this club is unmatched and is very much appreciated!! I would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Doug, Matt, Jason, and the rest of the team at the UG Broncos, as well as our friends at the MidwayUSA Foundation, for their generosity and support of youth shooting sports!! Watch for project updates over the next few weeks, and let's continue to 💪

2026 State Sporting Clays at Coyland Creek is now in the books!! The Wi******er camp was full of activity both day and night, with great food & drink, fellowship, cribbage, bags, and a healthy amount of crap talking! 🤣 We also welcomed many visitors and old friends! Thank you to Tom Lee & Phil Chojnacki for your steadfast leadership and organizational abilities!

I would also like to recognize Phil Chojnacki for his fundraising efforts, where he raised over $23,000 for Mitch Coyour (Owner of Coyland Creek), who was severely injured in an accident on the property just over a week ago. This speaks volumes about the character of people in the shooting community, and how we rally around one of our own in a time of need! Thank you, Phil, for your kindness and for representing Wi******er in such a positive way!💪

In addition to fundraising success, there was also alot of shooting success for the Wi******er crew!! Here is a list of the Wi******er winners:

Tom Lee: Qualified for shoot off for both 20-gauge & 28-gauge Master Class Champion 🏆

Phil Chojnacki: 20-gauge State Runner-up, 410 Master Class Champion (M1), True Pair Master Class Champion (M1), and Subgauge HOA Master Class Champion (M1).🏆

Andy Kalmer: Main Event Resident Runner-up (3rd Time), Super Sporting Master Class Champion (M1), and 12-gauge HAA State Champion 🏆

Todd Metcalf: 28-gauge AA Champion 🏆

Glen Mikolajczyk: 410 A Class Champion, 28-gauge A Class Champion, and A Class 🏆

Joey Chojnacki: 410 Resident HOA Champion 🏆

Klem (Brian Schneider): 20-gauge A Class Champion 🏆

Don Troen: 410 B Class Champion 🏆
