JR spent his birthday out on Potomac Creek with his buddies, making memories and chasing fish. The night started off slow, but once the tide changed, the fish got active and the arrows started flying.
The snakeheads managed to give us the slip, but that didn't stop the fun. We shared plenty of laughs and topped the night off with a nice catfish and a goldfish in the boat.
Happy Birthday, JR! Watching and teaching the next generation of bowfishers is what this sport is all about. Great job, boys!

Steve brought Brian down from Harrisonburg to Cole’s Point with one goal in mind—chasing stingrays. The wind picked up and tried its best to slow us down, but we stayed on the fish and kept the arrows flying. Between the waves, hard-fighting rays, and plenty of action, it turned into an unforgettable day on the Potomac River. What a fun trip with this crew!

Second charter down today! Ryan brought his son and a pair of Jeffs out this afternoon to try stingray fishing for the very first time. Once the rays showed up, the arrows started flying and the action stayed steady. Great teamwork, quick recoveries, and plenty of laughs helped put some nice rays in the boat. A fun afternoon on the water with a great crew!

Josh brought his crew down from north of the Mason-Dixon Line looking to put some rays in the boat. The morning started off slow, but the last hour and a half turned on in a big way. Arrows started flying, rays started piling up, and we finished the trip strong. Great group and a fun day on the water!

Ben and Jen battled heavy winds and rough waves all day long. We may have ended up soaked, but that didn’t stop us from putting rays in the boat and making some great memories. Tough conditions, plenty of laughs, and a blast from start to finish!

Jeremy and Kevin came down looking for some rays, and despite battling some serious wind, we managed to put a few in the boat. To top it off, we landed an awesome albino-colored ray as well. Tough conditions, but a great day on the water!

Ashley & Ben came out for round 2 this week! The water started out high and muddy, making the fishing slow early on. Ben broke out the spear and stuck his first gar fish, which made the night even better. We had a blast laughing and chasing fish around the creek, and right before the trip ended we were able to pick up a few snakeheads way back in the shallows. What a good night on the creek!
