Join us on Friday nights from 6:15-7:30 pm for Candlelit Yin Yoga.

It's a perfect way to end the hectic work week! Come relax and enjoy a relaxing and slow yoga practice in the glow of a candlelit room.

Yin yoga emphasizes long-held, deep, and passive stretching, to enhance flexibility and replenish the fluids in the connective tissue (including ligaments, bones, tendons, and joints) in our hips, pelvis, and spine. In doing so, it improves the flexibility and strength of the entire body and releases stagnant energy in the body.

SPECIAL TREAT: On the last Friday of each month, this yoga practice will be elevated by immersing yourself in the healing vibrations of a sound bath, featuring the resonant tones of crystal and metal singing bowls. The combination of Yin yoga and sound therapy creates a powerful opportunity for renewal, balance, and deep relaxation.

Suitable for all levels and great for improving circulation, energy, and overall health.

Angela was born in Brazil and has called California home since 2003. Her passion for mindful movement and holistic living has flourished in this beautiful state, where she enjoys its natural beauty, vibrant community, and commitment to wellness.

Angela discovered yoga at Mind Body Zone and completed her Yoga Teacher Training in 2010. Since then, she has pursued advanced studies with Judith Hanson Lasater in Restorative Yoga, and completed extensive Prenatal Yoga training with Jane Austin, as well as training in meditation and mindfulness practices.

Angela brings a nurturing, grounded presence to her classes, offering support for all stages of life. She feels honored to be part of the Mind Body Zone community and looks forward to sharing the transformative practice of yoga with you.
