Bear Report
Bear: Dennis Beatty (Tommy Egan)
Dennis won the biggest shootout of the weekend ($200 Gets Ya $5K) and made it to the finals of “The Purge” shootout. This team did an excellent job getting down the track and getting those wins.
Cub: Antonio Patton (Big Durty)
Lil Tony made it to the Semi-Finals of the $200 Gets Ya $5K shootout Friday night before getting eliminated by “Monkey Business”. This combo came back stronger and won “The Purge” shootout Saturday night. It’s hard keeping WMS out the winner’s circle.
Bully: B.J. Humphries (Only Fans)
Usually we associate David “Papi” Fondon with “Only Fans” but this time it was B.J. Da D.J. who was waving that big gun all over the track. He was all up in The Merge tent looking for smoke. “They say the best weapon is one you never have to fire. I respectfully disagree. I prefer the weapon you only need to fire once.” - Ironman. Papi and BJ sunt that baby down the track one time, put it up, and dared somebody to move! 😮💨
Thot: Billy Ammons (Side Bitch)
This combo was first round strap ‘em down in both shootouts that they entered. Even while fighting issues, Billy jumped in them shootouts and tried something. He might have lost these battles but can he win the war and become the end of the year champ for those respective classes?
Jackazz: Memphis Moe
What was ya doing homie?! Memphis Moe appeared to be on the edge of collecting more plaques and stacks but jumped the gun. That’s right, in the super heavyweight finals, 5 time six time champ T-Moe made a hell of a pass but it was all for not since he went red while his competitors strolled down the track to victory.
Most Impressive: Jay Adams (Risk Taker)
Jay Adams came out and beat the heavyweight “Eye Candy” in a grudge race after receiving the break Friday night. Jay then turned around and won the Super Heavyweight shootout Saturday night. From my understanding, “Risk Taker” gave “Unknown Legend” his first super heavyweight loss this year during the first round of that shootout. Then “Risk Taker” came back and got the win over the 5 time 6 time champ, “Casanova” in the finals.
Honorable Mention: Sanchez Spikes (Shiesty) and Cam Mathis (Ezal)
Sanchez hopped off the couch and won the B-Class shootout on Friday night. I bet he still ain’t take that champion chain off since Friday. Cam aka “OutKast” popped them boys in the Stock Seat Shootout to better his chances at winning the championship at the end of the season.
Rider of the Week: Kyron Drake (Smoke and Wired By Will)
K.D. was on fire this weekend. Friday lost in round 1 of the b-class shootout but turned around and won a makeup finals race against “Scorpion”. They couldn’t get it off at another event but got it done at The Merge. Saturday he took that stock seat bike “Wired By Will” and beat all the middleweights. He wasn’t done with “Smoke”, they made it back to the finals of the “Backyard Brawl” against “Scorpion”. However, they decided to split the money and lost the champion chain to a coin toss. K.D. wasn’t fu***ng off.
Tuner of the Week: Will Dean (Wired By Will)
Ol’ Will got it in this weekend. He had multiple bikes going rounds and winning shootouts (Shiesty, Smome, Wired By Will). Ain’t no doubt that WBW was on fire at The Merge!
Race of the Week: “Tommy Egan” v. “Big Durty”
The finals of the “The Purge” these met up and as the weather cooled down, the crowd was expecting to see a good race. Best believe, that’s exactly what we got. A close race with “Big Durty” edging out front for the win and a huge thanks to Jimmy (KO Racing) for the drone angle.
