We love our 2026 DOXA seniors! Here’s one of our seniors, Julia Allen!
✨Future plans:
I plan to attend the University of Florida starting this summer where I'll work towards getting my bachelor's degree in health science and eventually go to nursing school.
✨Favorite memories at Doxa Dance Studio:
My favorite memories at Doxa have been being able to build friendships and community with an amazing group of dancers. I've loved all the dinners between class and DDC rehearsal and hanging out backstage during shows.
✨Advice for younger students:
My advice is to never forget why you started dancing and enjoy every moment because it will go by faster than you can imagine. Doxa is a such a special place to build friendships and learn skills that you can take with you into the rest of your life.

We love our 2026 DOXA seniors! Here’s one of our seniors, Micah Whing!
✨Future plans:
I’ll always do what it takes, and what that looks like at the moment is becoming a journeymen electrical lineman; chasing stories and storms.
✨Favorite memories at Doxa Dance Studio:
Would have to be that whole first year of hiphop 4 years ago, any time after/before class talking to everyone. That’s probably the place where I first learned game. Not just how to be a likable person, but where I learned that I could curate how I wanted people to see me, and I’d like to thank Doxa for being the place that taught me them lessons.
✨Advice for younger students:
You may think that I’m talkin foolish, but death smiles at us all; all a man can do is smile back, and when ye gaze into the abyss long enough, don’t be surprised to see it gazing back. Don’t take advice from people you don’t want to be, and any pain your in, just as I told you, it’ll pass
love yall🫶

Remember to always have fun and remember why you dance. Even when things get stressful and busy, just try to enjoy every little moment with the people surrounding you because it goes by so quick.

We love our 2026 DOXA seniors! Here’s one of our seniors, Grace Yoon!
✨Future plans:
I will be attending the University of Central Florida to pursue a major in Hospitality and Hotel Management.
✨Favorite memories at Doxa Dance Studio:
Where do I start? From sharing a barre with my friends, to Saturday morning Sleeping Beauty rehearsals, I have loved every second at Doxa. I have made wonderful friends who are my biggest supporters, and all my amazing teachers have not only guided me as a dancer, but have helped shape me into the God loving person I am today.
✨Advice for younger students:
One of the biggest and most important lessons I've learned throughout my time in dance is that comparison has the ability to steal your joy. There might be someone with higher extensions, more turns, or faster progress, but that doesn't take away from your journey with dance. Dance is more than becoming someone else, it's about finding yourself. Stay focused on your path, trust the process, and don't forget how far you've come

We love our 2026 DOXA seniors! Here’s one of our seniors, Adelaide Rubenstein!
✨Future plans:
I plan to spend a gap year abroad in Israel, volunteering, learning, training and working. I will then attend Hillsdale College in Michigan, majoring in Classical Education or Philosophy with minors in Jewish Studies and Dance!
✨Favorite memories at Doxa Dance Studio:
My favorite memory from this year was running out to get drinks at the coffee food truck with the other Courtiers between our acts during Sleeping Beauty Rehearsals. I always love plies at the barre especially when a beam of sunlight is streaming through the window onto your spot at the barre. All of the random conversations about the little things that can go wrong with your feet and toes, particularly on Point, are always great too! 😉
✨Advice for younger students:
My advice to younger dancers would be to experiment and find which type of dance suits you best, to spend your time with others who encourage you and make you feel like a beautiful dancer, and to not let the mirror dictate who you are. Also, I encourage you to smile while you dance!
