The date has dropped 🙌🏽 and it’s Official, this will be our last thing we do, before we head to Thailand. So save the date! If you been to our gym before you KNOW it’s always a vibe AND it gets PACKED AF! So come early 🙏🏽
For the new ones here reading, I know many of you guys are probably wondering, What’s a Janjira Smoker? It’s our In-house neutral Thai Kickboxing hard sparring where coaches and AMATEUR fighters come to gain some experience before they go and do the real thing.
Requirements: You MUST be under a gym & have a coach to participate. No exceptions. Your gear must be 16oz gloves & leather shin guards, mouth piece, & a cup. It is a 3x3 min round with a 1 Min break there are no winner , no losers & at the end you go to your opponent’s side and say thank you for the opportunity. 🙏🏽
Why do we throw this?
The Muay Thai scene in Texas isn’t big, especially in the DFW area. Most Young/New Fighters, Coaches & Gyms having to spend tons of money to travel just to gain experience. A lot of local development league are coming up but they don’t actually allow you to work, and most of them charge fighters and coaches to participate, and we didn’t want to do that either. Not diss any other business because we do participate in these shows. We try to be as active as we can but we realized where we can come in play and help the community out. That’s why we open our gym to this 4x a year. In Thailand it’s considered Temple fights, & our OG Saekson Janjira started it by doing smokers in his gym, & we just continued it. 🙏🏽
