✨️Saddle up for an unforgettable summer adventure at Silver Springs Equestrian Center ! Our premier horse summer camp offers children ages 6-17 a hands-on, comprehensive introduction to the world of equestrian sports and ranch life. Whether your child is an absolute beginner who has never touched a horse or a developing rider looking to advance their skill set in the ring, our experienced instructors provide a safe, supportive, and confidence-building environment for everyone.

✨️What Campers Will Experience✨️

Our curriculum balances mounted riding progression with comprehensive ground-school education to build well-rounded, responsible equestrians.

⭐️Daily Riding Lessons: Small, ability-based groups focus on core skills like steering, balance, proper mounting, and progressing from a walk to an assisted or independent trot.

⭐️Hands-on Equine Care: Campers learn the essential daily routines of a working barn, including feeding schedules, horse nutrition, basic anatomy, and first aid.

⭐️Grooming & Tacking: Gain independence by mastering how to halter, brush, bathe, and safely prepare a horse for riding using English or Western tack.Arena Games & Activities: Build teamwork and confidence through exciting horseback obstacle courses, relay races, and ba****ck games.

⭐️Farm Crafts & Fun: Unwind between barn rotations with horse-themed arts and crafts, educational scavenger hunts, and socializing with fellow horse lovers.

✨️Camp Schedule & Details✨️

Dates: A Weekly session running Monday through Friday in June, July and August

Hours: 9am-4pm daily.

What to Wear: Long pants (jeans or riding breeches), sturdy closed-toe shoes with a heel (boots preferred), and a reusable water bottle. Safety helmets will be provided

TBA: We may do a Friday Showcase: Parents and families are invited every Friday afternoon to watch a live riding demonstration where campers proudly display their newly acquired skills!
