This fall, Second String Sports is launching something I’ve wanted to do since opening our doors:

We’re helping local kids get in the game — completely FREE. 🤍

We’re starting with:

⚽ Georgetown Parks & Rec Soccer
🥎 Georgetown Youth Softball Association
🏈 Neighborhood Sports Georgetown Flag Football

Families will be able to sign up privately and anonymously to receive help getting their child registered and ready for the season.

Our goal is to cover EVERYTHING they need to play:

• Their league registration fee
• Cleats
• Practice wear
• Socks, shin guards, gloves & other equipment
• Whatever else that individual athlete needs to step onto the field ready to play

No explaining your situation. No names shared publicly. No embarrassment.

If your child wants to play but the registration fee + cost of all the gear just isn’t in the budget right now, this is for you.

And this is where I need our Georgetown business community. ❤️

LOCAL BUSINESSES — WE NEED SPONSORS!

Businesses will be able to sponsor an athlete and help cover their registration fee AND gear, so that family has one less thing to worry about.

Sponsor one kid. Sponsor several. Help with gear. Every contribution helps us say YES to another athlete.

Because a kid should never have to sit on the sidelines simply because playing costs too much.

My dream is that when a Georgetown kid says, “I want to play,” our community can say:

Just a friendly reminder that Fall Softball Assessments have been rescheduled to Saturday, August 22!

📅 Assessment Times:
🥎 6U, 8U & 10U: 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM
🥎 12U & 14U: 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM

📍 Location: Georgetown Youth Softball Complex

⚠️ Please make every effort to attend. Assessments help us create balanced teams for a fun and competitive season. Players who do not attend assessments will be randomly assigned to a team.
