Tonight, we honor the memory of JT’s Grandma Anita and Uncle Jason, two of his biggest supporters who courageously battled cancer. Though they are no longer with us, their love and presence will always be felt under the Friday night lights.

His legacy reminds us that awareness matters, early detection matters, and every life is worth fighting for.

Tomorrow, we play for Scott, the Leatham family, and everyone impacted by cancer. ❤️

Today, we honor the life and legacy of Scott Blanchette, stepfather of JV player Jacob Estrada-Morris.

Scott courageously battled stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer for six years before passing away on April 22, 2026. His strength, courage, and fight will never be forgotten.

To Jacob and his family, the entire Perry Football family stands beside you. We play for those still fighting, celebrate those who have survived, and remember those we have lost.

Today, we honor Sheree Johnson, grandmother of Varsity player Jackson Smiley. Sheree has faced breast cancer with incredible strength, courage, and determination for over 20 years. Through every diagnosis, treatment, and challenge, she continues to fight.

Sheree, your strength inspires our entire Perry Football family. We stand beside you, we fight with you, and we play with purpose for warriors like you. 🩷

Her story reminds us that strength isn’t just found on the football field. It’s found in the everyday battles that require us to keep pushing forward.
