Softball is more than a game. More than nine innings, the strikeouts and homeruns. Softball is where you find your people, your family. Fierce softball girls understand other softball girls.
In the dugout, you laugh together, you are frustrated together, you celebrate together, and sometimes you cry together.
On Sunday, one of our 12u Express players, Tatum, broke her leg while playing catcher when another player slid home and hit her shin with their knee. She had surgery on Tuesday, and has been so determined to be back in the dirt and dugout with her team. While her summer of playing softball is over while she recovers, she will be there for her team as a cheerleader and motivator.
Tonight, her whole team came together and surprised her with amazing and thoughtful gifts that will keep her busy while she recovers, but also reminds her how loved she is.
It’s not about the wins and the losses. It’s about the relationships and lifelong memories. Thank you 12u Express girls and families for lifting Tatum up and making her feel loved and valued!

Our 14u Express team had two wins tonight against Dakota Selects (Pranchke) 14u.
The team’s bats were on fire in the first game—Lauren, Jocelyn, Jaley and Alaina all had two hits! Blake, Lauren and Alaina all had two RBIs during this game! Alaina pitched 3 innings and had 4 strikeouts, and Blake pitched one inning and had 3 strikeouts! Our Express 14U team won 10-0.
In the second game, the team had 9 hits with Landry, Jaley and Kherington collecting two hits each. Paisley B led the team with two stolen bases! Blake struck out four in the first two innings and Kherington came in and struck out two in three innings. Our Express 14U team won 7-4.
Solid performance from our 14U Express League team tonight!

Our 12U Express team went 5-1 on the weekend--just lost a heartbreaker of a game in the championship!! Second place in the gold bracket is nothing to hang your head about though!! So much grit, determination and strength was shown in this group of girls this week!!
They were undefeated after pool play on Saturday, and went into Sunday as a 3 seed! Super proud that they battled and left with second place over all!
They defeated Grand Rapids 12u black 14-2
They defeated Moorhead Crush Orange 15-1
They defeated Bismarck Sparks Blue 12u 17-8
In bracket play, they defeated Aitkin 12U 5-3
They defeated DGF Black 12U 4-3
And came up short against the Little Falls Flyers 6-7
It was a great weekend, girls! Keep it up!!

Our 10u Express team went 4-2 on the weekend and secured 4th place in the Bemidji tournament! They finished pool play undefeated on Friday, and went into Gold bracket play Friday evening!
They defeated 10U Moorhead Crush Orange 9-3
They defeated Red Lake 15-0
They defeated Bemidji Blaze 10U white 12-0
In bracket play, they defeated Pequot Lakes 5-2
They lost to the Flyers 10U 1-5
They lost to Aitkin 10U 3-5 to earn 4th place in the Gold Bracket!
We have seen such amazing growth with this whole team in a short amount of time! So proud of you all--keep working hard, ladies!!
