Wow what an experience!! We were overwhelmed with the amount of support we received for this amazing opportunity. Thank you to each and everyone that helped Carmyn get to the Showdown and Nationals!
Thursday Showdown
1 heat and Carmyn came off her sled on the down hill that we couldn’t see (worse feeling ever when you don’t know where she’s at or if she’s ok) we thought for sure she wouldn’t make it to the final since there were 21 kids and only 20 make it to the final. But she was the 20th qualifier and they actual let all 21 race! She was very cautious since she did hurt her arm in the heat but when out and finished the race in 19th
Friday National Race
There were 48 200 racers!!
Round 1-4th
Round 2-5th
LCQ-the down hill got her again and finished 9th
Saturday National Race
46 racers and terrible visibility, windy and snowing
Round 1-6th
Round 2-7th
Unfortunately with that may racers she did not advance to the LCQ

Carmyns LCQ she finished 9th. Had a great start but something happened down in the trees where we can’t see. So no final for today but she’s got one more day of racing tomorrow!
Round 2 held 4th most of the race but right at the last corner got pinched to the side of the track. Ended in 5th still awesome!
Round 1 Carmyn finished 4th!
Carmyn made it to the final!! We were shocked! She ended in 19th we believe definitely riding cautiously but she went out and finished!! So proud of her!
This is right before she went to the down hill section that she came off on. She’s definitely bummed. But will be ready for tomorrow!
There are 21 racers in Carmyns class and only the top 20 make it to the final. She was doing great sitting right around 6th but on the last down hill (that no spectators can see) she came off and says her sled ran over her arm. Shes pretty sore but ok. Unfortunately that means she won’t go to the final since she got a DNF.

We had so much fun at the Michigan Snocross Banquet! You could tell how much Northern Power Race Park really strives to make this such an amazing program!
Carmyn ended the season on her 200 in 2nd place. Going into Saturdays race she was sitting in 3rd just 3 points away from 2nd so she knew she had to come out with everything she had!!
On her 600 she finished in 6th place. This is also with her missing a whole weekend of points from when her sled broke one weekend and wasn’t able to race it!!
The icing on her cake was definitely when she also won the Most Improved Rider award! She was already so excited just to get nominated by Northern Power Race Park and MI Snocross Media but blown away when she won!
Wayne finished his season in 7th place! Which is awesome considering this is his first season in his 200 and one of the youngest ones in his class.
Thank you to everyone that helped us get through this season! We appreciate all of you! All the cheering us on, visitors at the track, donators, pop can donators, cookie buyers, and sponsors!! We truly can’t express how much gratitude we have for every single one of you!

Finally getting around to post about Saturdays finals!!
Wayne went 2nd and 3rd in his heats! Then in his final he finished 5th out of 11 racers!! His best finish he had all season!!
Carmyn on her 200 went 1st and 4th in her heats. In her second heat she was in 2nd hit the last hill before the finish line and practically did a hand stand on her handle bars (Make sure you scroll to the bottom to see the video of it) But she quickly got right back on hitting the throttle before she was even fully back on sled!! Then in the final she finished 2nd!
Carmyn on her 600 went 3rd and 5th in her heats. Then in her final she finished 5th.
