Today, we turned our gym pink in support of Brooksann Tillia as she navigates her breast cancer journey. Our team, coaches, and families showed up in a big way by wearing pink, offering prayers and words of encouragement, and helping raise funds.

One of the things that makes Team Matrix so special is that we're more than just a gymnastics team—we're a family. When one of our own is hurting, we come together.

Brooksann, mom of Piper (one of our competing gymnasts) and Bella (one of our recreational coaches), has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. As she begins treatment, we want her to know she isn't facing this journey alone.

On Monday and Thursday next week, we invite everyone coming into our gym to wear pink to show their support and remind Brooksann that her Motion Matrix family is standing beside her every step of the way.

We've also started a GoFundMe for anyone who is in a position to help ease some of the financial burden of treatment.

We know many families have already given so generously this year, and we completely understand if you're unable to give. Your prayers, encouragement, and simply wearing pink are meaningful ways to show your support.

Where Little Bodies Move, Big Minds Grow!

It is official! Sami committed to the University of Wisconsin Whitewater and will be competing for the Warhawks!

Sami started training with Motion Matrix when she was just a toddler. She has worked hard to get to this point and is such an incredible role model for our younger gymnasts. We are so grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of her gymnastics career and so proud of her!

Everyone join with us as we offer her a massive congratulations! Go Sami!

Urgent Evie Update Today June 2nd:

Evie is back in surgery with infection in her brain. Let’s all lift Evie up with our prayers and all our good thoughts. Evie, Sam & Kyle you are SO strong & SO loved 🩵

Recovery from the 12 hour surgery to remove the tumor has been rough. Today though, Evie is feeling better! Next step is a transfer to Seattle Children’s Hospital for radiation and chemotherapy. Pray that this all happens quickly so it can get started, giving Evie the best chance of success.

Evelie is out of surgery and awake! Praise God! She asked for her mom and a smoothie 🙂 that’s our tough girl!
