The 84 team again traveled to Las Vegas to race with the Lucas Oil Modified series, where Mark Jr qualified very solidly in the race. Mark was running great in the race until a mechanical failure cut his race short. In 2012 Mark Jr probably had the strongest year he has had to date. He won three main event and numerous heat races. Mark Jr was running second in the points when a spring failure in the last race of the season gave the team a small set back. Mark struggled to keep the car going as best he could and was able to hold onto 3rd place in the final season standings. After the season was over Mark and the team headed to Las Vegas to run with the Lucas Oil Modified series. The team had the car performing great and were solidly in the top 10 with practice times when an engine failure stalled the weekend for Mark and the 84 team. In 2013 the team brought a new chassis to Ut, and had a very successful first year with the new car. Mark picked up 2 feature wins and many heat race wins. Mark also had two fast time awards. With the new car and new engine the team also ran two races with the Lucas Oil Modified series and finished both races in the top 10 with over 50 cars trying to compete.

2014 brought all the team goals and dreams together, Mark Jr won the season Championship!! Mark and team won three features events and qualified fast time for 9 out 10 events. 2014 was definitely a great year for the team. The team also qualified 2nd out of 50 for the Lucas Oil Modified race in SL and finished the feature in the top ten. The team also had a top 10 finish in Las Vegas with the Lucas Oil Series.

2015, WOW where do we start.. and the team were able to pick up three main event victories and 5 fast time awards. Mark Jr won the overall points for the night 9 out of 10 events on the season, and was able to DEFEND his track championship. Mark Jr and the #84 team are now back to back season champions. It was definitely a memorable season. Mark also qualified 8th for the Lucas Oil race in July at RMR out of 38 cars. Mark also drove a mini cup car for a friend the last four races of the season and was able to win 3 of the 4. In 2016 the team had its share of ups and downs. The season did not begin how the team would have hoped, but they refused to give up and got stronger and stronger as the season progressed. With their strong dedication and never give up attitude, Mark and the team were able to bring home the season championship and become the now THREE TIME track champions. Mark has one feature win on the season and numerous heat races victories along with 5 fast time awards. Mark also raced with the Lucas Oil Modifieds twice in 2016 and was very competitive in both races. Mark and team qualified inside the top 15 in both races. retired in 2017 and let his daughter Kylie take over. She is now the face of W.F.O Racing. She raced a Ford Focus Midget in Twin Falls Idaho in 2018 where she picked up Rookie of the year and Beauty car. In 2019 she raced her midget again where she broke the track record and still holds it to this day and won her first main event she finished 4th in points and won Beauty car! At the end of the season she was ready to move up a class so we sold the midget and bought a modified where she traveled to Las Vegas to compete in the Fall Classic. She finished in the top 10 first time in the car with some of the biggest names on the west coast. At this race she impressed alot of people and got a chance to return to Vegas to race in the Jr. late model class with Keller Motorsports. Kylie finished 5th first time in the car! She loved the late models much we sold the modified and bought her one. In 2020 she got a limited race schedule cause of the corona pandemic. We traveled to Madera Speedway in California where she competed with some of the best, youngest drivers on the west coast. Her luck was not good at all. She was wrecked every single race except the last race of the season where she finished 10th. In all the ups and downs she never gave up and still continued to race her heart out and race each lap. We are hoping 2021 will be a better year and she will be able to run more races and get more seat time. If you are interested in getting your name or company on her car please call or email Mark.

Today was a day filled with history, heartbreak, and finally… peace.

Our crew guy Sr, our friend, and someone who has become family has a remarkable story to share.

In 1944, while serving in the Army and fighting for our country in WWII his grandpa went MIA. For decades, his son and grandchildren never gave up searching for him. After years and years of unanswered questions and searching for answers, they finally found him in Nebraska. Today, after more than 80 years they were finally able to lay him to rest and give him the proper burial he deserved.

And what makes this story even more heartbreaking is that he was laid to rest beside his son a little boy when his father went missing. Most of you know Grandpa JD. He traveled with us, raced with us, and became a familiar face to so many of us at the track. This was his dad.

Grandpa JD spent his entire life searching for his father. He carried that unanswered question with him for all those years, hoping that someday he would know where his dad was and that he could finally bring him home.

Sadly, he passed away before that day ever came.

But today, his family finished what he had spent his life trying to do.

His dad finally came home.

There is something incredibly humbling about watching a story like this unfold. A man who left home in 1944 never knowing where his life would end, finally being brought home more than eight decades later to rest beside the son who waited his whole life for answers.

What a day to finally be laid to rest.

What a day to finally be home.

And what an incredible reminder that some stories take generations to reach their ending.

Today, we honor him. We honor Grandpa JD. And we honor the family who never stopped searching.

Rest peacefully. You were never forgotten. 🇺🇸

🏁 Happy 22nd Birthday to my racecar driver! 🏁

Kylie you are hands down one of the most resilient people I know. Life has thrown things at you that would have made most people give up but you never let the struggles take away your passion. You keep showing up, keep fighting, and keep chasing the things that make your heart happy. I have watched you work so hard not only in your personal life, but behind the wheel and in everything that comes with being a racecar driver. I have watched the blood, sweat, tears, setbacks, wins , and everything in between. And through it all you continue to push forward.

At 22 you have so much life ahead of you and so many dreams still waiting to be chased. I hope this next chapter brings you everything you have dreamed of and more. I hope you continue to find the courage to chase the impossible, the strength to get back up when life knocks you down, and the confidence to remember just how capable you are. Being your mom and watching you chase this passion has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. I couldn't be prouder of the woman you are becoming.

Here's to 22 a fast life, big dreams, fewer setbacks, and A LOT of checkered flags! 🏁🏆
I love you more than you'll ever know. 🩷

Love, Mom
