Well, if you thought we were done with big news this week, you would be incorrect!

We are VERY proud to announce that Tyler Blind was named one of the 20 under 40 by Great Bend Tribune. 👏🏻

Tyler had his hands a bit full today, so some of the team stepped in and Chris Flores accepted Tyler's award on his behalf while Mikyla Galindo took some great photos and was there to cheer him on! ❤️

Fear not, the social media team will be menacing Tyler in the near future for some *award winning* content to commemorate this achievement 😉

🚨 BLINDSIDE ROSTER UPDATE! 🚨

Our gym family just got a little bigger… and a whole lot cuter!

Please join us in congratulating our founders and coaches, Chelsy and Tyler Blind, on the arrival of their beautiful twin girls on October 21st! 💕

That's right, Blindside just added:

🥋 4 tiny arms for fighting for underhooks
🥋 4 little legs for locking up triangle chokes
🥋 20 tiny fingers for establishing grips
🥋 2 brand-new white belts with unlimited potential
🥋 And DOUBLE the trouble on the mats!

The girls may not have mastered sh*****ng or guard retention just yet, but we're confident they'll have Mom and Dad tapping out to sleep deprivation in record time.

We couldn't be happier to welcome the two newest members of the Blindside family. These little warriors already have an entire gym full of people cheering them on.

Strength is meant to be shared… and apparently, so is the family legacy!💗

WE TOLD YOU WE HAD BIG NEWS… AND THIS ONE IS HUGE! ❤️🖤

We are beyond excited and incredibly grateful to announce that Blindside Grappling has been awarded a Neighborhood Youth Grant from the Golden Belt Community Foundation! 🎉

This grant is a HUGE step forward in bringing our vision for our new facility to life!

Thanks to this generous investment, we will be able to install brand-new, permanent training mats and essential safety equipment in our new home. But this grant represents so much more than mats and equipment.

It means more opportunities for local kids. More room to grow our youth programs. More community outreach. More opportunities to build confidence, resilience, friendships, and a sense of belonging.

It means creating a safe, welcoming space where kids of all backgrounds and abilities can learn, grow, and discover just how strong they really are.

Thank you for believing in our mission, investing in the youth of our community, and recognizing the impact that programs like ours can have on the lives of local families. The Results Are IN!

We are completely blown away by the incredible support for our very first fundraiser here at Blindside! Thanks to everyone who donated and bought raffle tickets, we raised $1,585! Every single dollar is going directly toward updating the facade of our new gym location!

And the vote is officially in... (though it might not come as a huge surprise 😉): BLACK will be the color of the new face of Blindside Grappling! 🖤🔥

WE FOUND THE FLOOR! 🎉

And some walls, too! Turns out there was a whole building hiding under all that stuff. Who knew?!

We've been hard at work clearing out our future home, and while there's still plenty to do, we're finally starting to see the space and all its potential!

Our youngest demolition crew members have been putting in some serious hours. Aly has officially declared that all this work is turning her into an old lady. 😂

Coach Tyler's performance review of the junior crew was equally glowing: "Not all the help is super efficient, but they make up for it in cuteness and entertainment value."

We're choosing to call that a five-star review.

In all seriousness, it's been a LOT of work, and we're incredibly grateful for everyone who has rolled up their sleeves, hauled junk, moved furniture, and helped us get one step closer to making this place our home.

It's dusty, it's messy, and we're pretty sure the building is still hiding a few surprises.

But little by little, we're turning a building full of someone else's history into a place where our community can make its own.❤️🖤
