Good Afternoon,

Thank you once again to the 60+ students that showed up at our Player Meeting last week.

As the calendar turns to summer, a reminder we have our Parents Meeting on Sunday June 14th at 6:00 PM in the Thune Center at West High School.

Parents are highly encouraged to attend. Expectations, policies, fundraising, booster club information, and other important details will be discussed.

As mentioned in our new communication platform sportsYou, we will be having a player meeting for anyone interested in playing football this coming fall.

The meeting will take place Thursday May 28th starting at 3:30 PM in the West High Auditorium.

Program and player expectations, daily summer and fall scheduling, fundraising information, and other important information will be discussed.

Parents can still attend the player meeting with the understanding this meeting will be tailored to the students.

We’re excited to enter our second year partnering with Story of the Season, and we’re looking for local businesses to join us as sponsors for the 2026 season!

This partnership allows us to:

- Provide meals to players for road games and snacks/drinks in the locker room
- Update our practice equipment
- Assist in our student-athletes attending college camps
- Highlight the stories and growth of our student-athletes through weekly digital chapters and a printed end-of-the year football yearbook (each kid and sponsor will receive)
- Build stronger connections between our program and the community

We’re proud of the direction our program is heading, and we want to continue building something the entire Green Bay community can be part of.

Due to district IT changes, we will be moving on from Google Classroom as our main communication platform and moving to sportsYou. All West High School Activities&Athletics will be using sportsYou moving forward.

Players and Parents:

You should have received an email with an invitation to join the West Football sportsYou group. Please check your inboxes and spam folders and accept. A daily calendar, important information, and updates will come from sportsYou. SportsYou also has an app to download onto your phones (both App Store and Google Play Store) so that you have the information on-the-go.

On Thursday, April 16, the Solomon Chapter of National Honor Society inducted new members Ella Smith, Olivia Vandergrift, Channing Vang, Olivia Erler, Henry Gabrielson, and Cole Heinz. These students are joining a tradition of scholarship, service, character, and leadership that has been a part of our building since 1973.

Congratulations and best wishes to these students as they join this prestigious organization and work on building our school community.

Next Tuesday is our final concession stand requirement for the year. It's a track meet and we'll be outside in the stand. We will need 4 kids starting at 3:30 PM. Please sign up at the link below:

We just released our 2026 Summer & Fall Daily Schedule on Google Classroom. Times and dates are subject to change and will be announced if so. Events such as 7v7 school leagues/scrimmages will be added once we receive more information.

Green Bay West is seeking applicants for assistant football coaching positions.

Roles available are varsity position coaches and JV 1/2 Head Coach and coordinators depending on the fit. Seeking candidates who are of high character and willing to be a part of the continued growth and development of our program.
