After 3 amazing years with Impact Hoops, today we say goodbye to our guy Silas and his family as they move out of state.

It’s never easy watching one of your own head to a new chapter, but man — what a legacy Silas leaves behind. From a young kid who loved the game to a passionate leader who poured into younger players and showed up with heart every single time… he truly embodied everything we stand for at Impact Hoops.

His mom shared:
“Silas has participated in Impact Hoops for the past 3 years, and it has been such a positive environment for him both on and off the court. The multi-age, coed practices have not only strengthened his love of the game and pursuit of excellence, but have also given him opportunities to encourage and pour into younger players and to be poured into. Through his time there, he has learned the value of repetition and perseverance, and it has shaped the way he approaches challenges and performance in every area of his life.”

His dad added:
“Coach King and Chad lead with such positivity about the game of basketball, your development as a human being and how it all requires hard work and commitment. These skills and behaviors have been foundational for our son Silas as he continues to navigate the wonderful game of basketball and his contribution as a leader on and off the court.”

Silas, thank you for the energy, the growth, and the memories you brought to this gym. We’re so proud of the young man you’ve become. Even though you’re moving states, you’ll always be part of the Impact Hoops family.
This is what it’s all about — building lifelong character, skills, and connections that go far beyond the court.
