Team Ohana

We wanted to give a HUGE shoutout to our raffle and silent auction winners! We appreciate you all so much and the artists, vendors and shops that donated the product!

This is going to be a bit longer and more emotional than our normal posts but we, at Team Ohana, would like to extend the warmest thank you to the community we’ve surrounded ourselves with!

Yesterday’s charity was such a huge success, more than we could have ever imagined. From the teams that came out to the players that traveled 3+ hours for someone they don’t know. There was a ton of preparation that went into getting raffle prizes from reaching out to artists, companies and the community we were riding on hopes and dreams until the first few emails trickled in from artists and vendors. Speaking of, we would like to give a HUGE SHOUTOUT to Heavy Play, Grace Tran (artist), Nate Saulo (artist), Josh Paultre (Brother Bear Mats), and Matified by Cassie. They all donated their time, product and skills to making the raffle prizes we had available amazing. We were in shock and awe of what was donated by them and cannot say enough thank yous to seem like enough.

Team Ohana’s community and team pulled together immediately and we are so grateful to each and every one of them. The “Yappin’ Queens”, (Ashton Benitez Heven Anderson Katherine Barnhill-Carter Ariel Herrera Courtney Kanupp Tanya R. Stone) as they move dubbed themselves, led the charge in running the event as a whole, from tournament organizing to judging they had us covered. Our travel team split the work load having Bruce Kendrick and D.j. Guenther commentate the entire event to Korey Ochoa and Zarek Sobkowski repping the team in the event. Our street team also showed up in FULL force without even a question!

We want to give a specific shoutout to a few teams that showed up, some of which traveled 3/4+ hours to get there. You are so appreciated and the event was elevated with your attendance!

You guys are always nothing but good to Ohana and we genuinely appreciate your belief in our cause and trust.

Overall, we were able to raise $4,060 for Margie and we couldn’t have done it without this amazing community! Thank you so much everyone!
