Yeah we’ve been reading this wrong. Jesus ain’t a punk 😤 I always thought the scripture meant to just be passive when it came to conflict but really, this is quite the opposite… turning the other cheek is actually a BOLD statement. And THIS is why we have to read the word of God for ourselves and STUDY the bts, the times, the WHO it was written for… it all matters. (MATTHEW ch 5:39)
