A morning of exercise classes on May 2 with our friends at O2 Fitness Clubs in Greensboro, led in part by Friendly parents Lynn Wicker, Ann Cantrell and Darren Watson, kicked off our 2026 "Swim for Cancer" fundraiser. The generosity of our pool community and others in town who believe in this important cause generated nearly $1,150 in gifts benefiting the American Cancer Society!

There were 1,180 candy-filled, colorful plastic eggs... nearly 50 children under the age of 10... one fun-filled Saturday afternoon on the lawn... and countless smiles and laughs. Our Friendly families truly are the best.

Today's the day! Our 2026 spring egg hunt starts at 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, for Friendly tadpoles who are under the age of 10. You'll want to be there a few minutes early!

Coach Ed and some of our lifeguards/junior coaches had fun on Sunday morning getting things ready for next weekend’s egg hunt! Children 10 & under in families that are members of the pool are invited to the lawn on 3/21 at 4 p.m. (you should arrive a few minutes early) to celebrate the arrival of spring!

Hop on down to Friendly with your kids later this month for moments of laughter and candy and colorful eggs!
