EMU Women’s Basketball is building something special. Our goal is to create a championship culture while developing confident, hardworking student-athletes who represent EMU with pride on and off the court.

A Royal legend.

We’re incredibly proud to celebrate Jess Rheinheimer Bishop ’16 as she is inducted into the EMU Athletics Hall of Honor during Homecoming 2026!

Jess left an incredible mark on EMU Women’s Basketball, helping lead the Royals to an 84-26 record, two ODAC championship game appearances, and finishing her career with 1,567 points. A two-time ODAC Player of the Year, two-time All-American and Jostens Trophy winner. This honor is so well deserved.

Congratulations, Jess! We can’t wait to celebrate you. Once a Royal, always a Royal.

Jess Rheinheimer Bishop ’16 will be inducted into the Hall of Honor by Eastern Mennonite University Athletics during Homecoming 2026! One of the most decorated players in Royals women’s basketball history, Bishop led EMU to an 84-26 record and two ODAC championship game appearances during her four years.

She was a two-time ODAC Player of the Year, two-time D3hoops.com All-American, and 2015 Jostens Trophy winner. She finished her career with 1,567 points, the third-most in program history.
