10 years ago I would literally carry kids on my back to take them hunting!!

Cross Trail Outfitters is MUCH more than taking kids hunting. It is a way for us to share our faith! Share the Gospel! Share what Jesus has done for us.

I might have a little more gray, a little more weight even. But I still have breath, I still have Jesus, and still have strength to carry kids across water.

2013 we had a volunteer family camp out at now VOD Tactical!! It was the start of WNC Mountains chapter. Past few years we’ve been, well dormant you could say. We have always stayed in contact and great friends with the owners of VOD Tactical. With the prompting of the Holy Spirit and prayer, WNC CTO is about to get breath back into its lungs!!! Stay tuned!!!!!

Let’s honor these fellow hunters today!

Normally we put on our camo to blend in with our surroundings and hope to not be seen. Today we wear it in places where it will stand out in honor of those we lost tragically this past Sunday.
We continue to pray for their loved ones, their friends, and their communities. We are lifting up East Carteret High School. We are trusting and believing for peace and comfort for all of the students and faculty. We are praying for anyone affected by this as these things are hard and sometimes impossible to understand.

There is a movement spreading down east that originated at East Carteret High School where the 4 boys attended that were killed in the plane crash on Sunday. Students there are all going to wear camo on Thursday in honor of their lost friends.
We are asking all of our CTO friends and family young and older to join us and the many folks across our state to do the same. Put on your favorite camo and wear it wherever you go this Thursday. While in school, work, or whatever you are doing keep these families and their friends in your prayers.
We will start things off with a post on Thursday morning where you can share pics of you and your friends honoring these boys.
The outpouring of love and prayers has been tremendous. Thank You! Let’s cover NC in camo this Thursday.
