Golden Laced Wyandotte
*
* Known for their beautiful gold-and-black feather pattern
* Very calm and friendly around people
* Great beginner chicken breed for kids
* Egg color: light brown
* Fun fact: Wyandottes are fluffy and round-looking, almost like they’re wearing feather jackets

Silver Laced Wyandotte
*
* Similar personality to Golden Wyandottes
* Friendly, social, and cold-hardy
* Gorgeous black-and-white feather pattern
* Egg color: cream to light brown
* Kids usually love these because they look super fancy

Midnight Majesty Marans

* One of the coolest egg layers because they can lay DARK chocolate-brown eggs 🍫🥚
* Usually calm and easygoing
* Their black feathers can shine green in sunlight
* Great “show-off” chicken because people are always surprised by the egg color

Mystic Onyx

* Very unique black-feathered chickens
* Friendly and curious personalities
* Egg color: brown
* Some have dark skin/features that make them look extra rare and exotic
* They tend to stand out in a flock because of their shiny black coloring

* Very social and entertaining
* Love water and following people around
* Can become super friendly if handled often
* Egg color: white to cream
* Fun fact: Pekin ducks are known for their loud quacks and goofy waddles
