Yes we hike on Holidays too.
This past Labor Day we did one of our special hikes at the historic Newlin Grist Mill in Glen Mills Pa. Thank you to Mary R for leading this beautiful holiday hike.

If you’d like to join us on one of our hikes just go to our website hiking calendar and pick a hike. We have scheduled hikes every day but Mondays unless it falls on a holiday like it did this week. Wilmingtontrailclub.org
Once you’ve found a hike just show up. No need to pre register. Non members can attend 2 hikes to check us out before having to join. Membership is still only $18/yr.

Signups are open now

This is a fun non competitive annual community event hosted every year by The Wilmington Trail Club offering the opportunity to hike 15 miles across the entire width of the state.
We hike along the north side of the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal.

This past Tuesday we were privileged to be able to hike at Brandywine Conservancy’s crown jewel Laurels Preserve. We rarely get an opportunity to hike this beautiful private preserve which is not open to the public. This hike was wonderful because all had a chance to take a cooling off dip in Buck Run afterwards. Thanks so much to Nancy Peffer for arranging and leading this beautiful hike.
