The Great Pumpkin Splash was another huge success! While this fall themed family engagement transforms our small pool into a water based pumpkin patch, this experience is more than families swimming with pumpkins, enjoying water based Halloween games, music and movie.

Greater Holyoke YMCA creates an environment where families can have lasting memories together. At our Y, we believe that when families play, learn, and grow together, they thrive!

This past weekend Greater Holyoke YMCA teamed up with YMCA of Greater Springfield to have our teens participate in UMass Amherst Homecoming Weekend College experience. Teens engaged in a campus tour, learned about admissions and financial aid process, visited dorms and watched an exciting football game.

Shout out to Madeline for being selected as our Staff of the Month!

Madeline was not only nominated by fellow colleagues but also by our members! Madeline works tirelessly within our house keeping department to provide a clean, safe and welcoming space at our Y. When she is not providing house keeping services, Madeline enjoys supporting the child watch program, ensuring each kid in her care has fun and leaves with a big smile! Thank you Madeline!!!

Greater Holyoke YMCA teens recently embarked on a transformational once in a lifetime New York City experience. Our kids explored the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, attended a Broadway Show, participated in a campus tour of NYU, engaged in remembrance of 9/11 Memorial, visited MSG, Times Square, and so many more first time experiences.

What was equally as powerful though is the healthy, positive relationships built as our teens experienced life in a metropolitan city with caring, responsible mentors and other peers who are eager to unleash their full potential.

Special shout out to Gagne Wealth Management Group for making this life changing experience possible!
