🐴 HORSE FOR A DAY – FOR ADULTS 🐴
Have you always wanted to get into horses but weren't quite sure where to start?
Maybe you rode years ago and have been thinking about getting back into it.
Or maybe you've never even touched a horse but have always wanted to.
Come spend a couple of hours at Applejack Stables and give it a try!
Our Horse for a Day experience is a relaxed, no-pressure introduction to horses designed specifically for adults.
You'll learn how to:
🐴 Safely approach and handle a horse
🐴 Groom and care for your horse
🐴 Lead and work with your horse on the ground
🐴 Learn basic horse behavior
🐴 Tack up
🐴 And ride when weather and footing allow
Ask questions, get comfortable around the horses and find out if this is something you'd like to continue — without committing to a lesson program first.
No experience necessary. Complete beginners are absolutely welcome.
⏰ Approximately 2 hours
💲100 per adult

The hot weather doesn’t stop our campers from doing what they love! Started with an early morning trail ride, and ended with giving the horses some cold and yummy treats!

Picked this horse up at auction a month ago. He was skinny. And you could tell in his eyes he had a story to tell. To be honest I don't think this horse has a bad story to tell I think he just got unlucky. I traced some of his history based on his Brands and got some pretty good info on him including his baby pictures. I don't know where he's been the last 10 years but obviously somebody thought he wasn't worth keeping. Well let me tell you; he sure was worth buying.
