Climate Fire Suppression Tanks are designed for each specific application, global geographic location, and are governed by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) code under Section 22. This specific tank we designed and manufactured for one of our clients for a distribution center project within a matter of weeks. Our tanks exceed both (AWWA) American Water Works Association, Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), and NFPA Standards. All of our steel bolted tanks are 100% factory finished and crated to protect them from any damages during shipping around the world; easy to transport with lower freight costs and neatly organized so assembly is simpler. Climate LLC manufactures tanks with liners that are galvanized or powder coated, mastic sealed and non liner bonded epoxy, glass-fused to steel (GFS), and stainless steel tanks with ladders, platforms, and safety cages; nozzles, SeeLevel Blue™️ level indicators, Halcyon Assembly™️ vortex inhibitors, top access hatches that are locking, hand railings and walkways, and side wall bulkheads and manways. Climate Tanks™️ glass-fused-to-steel tanks and epoxy-coated tanks are both types of bolted steel storage tanks that are commonly used for water storage, wastewater treatment, bulk storage, effluent, chemicals, and other applications. There are a few key differences between the two types of tanks: One of the main differences is the materials used to construct the tanks. Glass-fused-to-steel tanks are made by fusing a layer of glass (Fritz) to the steel surface of the tank, creating a strong and durable finish with a design life of 50 years. Our Epoxy-coated tanks, on the other hand, are made by applying a layer of epoxy to the steel surface of the tank. This creates a smooth and corrosion-resistant finish. We electrostatic test our panels with voltages of 1500v so that our clients have a peace of mind that they have ZERO discontinuity on every panel before we ship from the factory. Most above ground storage tanks used for fire protection are commonly one of three designs; bolted steel, welded steel or concrete. Bolted steel cost is 40-60% lower than concrete or welded steel. Bolted tanks also offer a much lengthier warranty period. Bolted tanks are manufactured in sizes from 550 to 6,000,000+ gallons. Climate bolted steel tanks are precision fabricated: Fire protection tanks are designed to the specific application and are governed by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) code under Section 22. Our tanks exceed both AWWA and NFPA standards. Climate offers a full line of manufactured tanks with liners that are galvanized or powder coated, mastic sealed and non liner epoxy, glass-fused to steel, and stainless steel tanks with ladders and safety cages; flanges and vortex inhibitors, top access hatches that are locking and hand railed platforms, and side wall bulkheads.
