Former Alma Airedale cheerleader Payton McCain is now the head cheer coach at Van Buren. Last night was her very first football game as a coach, and we were so excited to be there to support her and surprise her team with a few sweet treats!

We loved getting to set the rivalry aside for a few minutes last night to visit with the VB cheerleaders. We’re wishing you a great first season, Coach McCain!

The 2026 AIS Spirit Clinic is coming, and this year we’re heading straight to the toy box with a TOY STORY theme! 🧸⭐️

📅 Practices: Tuesday, Sept. 8 & Thursday, Sept. 10
⏰ Immediately after school until 5:30 p.m.
🏈 Performance: Pregame at the AHS varsity football game on Friday, Sept. 11!
📣 Learn an Airedale cheer + Toy Story themed dance!
👕 Cost: $35, includes instruction AND a T-shirt!

No after-school pickup needed on practice days, participants will be called to the gym before dismissal!
