One last hurdle to clear , find a RELIABLE push button locking switch, that will fit.

As is, reminded me of a Dollar General flashlight, one you may have to whack it and try again.

I had heard that this kind of rod holder was not so good on ice, especially if the sun was out, they fall over due to slowly melting the way....
This piece of PVC with the right size hole drilled through it, buried in a drilled hole in the ice ....good to go.

This widget has been in the works for too long now, 6 years, plus some months to be seen..

It's finally solid enuff to share..

Easy Catch don't like cheap junk either...not ANY.

This float will run 10 plus hours on the inboard rechargeable battery.

Has a tilt switch inside, so it only runs when upright.

Found it extremely challenging to tune it it, make is solid.

So.....instead of giving up, the action part was installed on a tip up. It has worked out pretty good....THANKS!
