I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas celebrating with family and friends. Those traveling we hope you arrive safe and sound. We will be closed for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day this week.

We are back on the grass for a short term as here it is 85 degrees in late December. We get a green Christmas instead of a white Christmas in Texas! Excuse the mess too as we relevel the back of the tee where the mats are. This project should be completed after Christmas!

Hope everyone is safe and ok post the bad weather early this week. Just a heads up and a reminder for Thanksgiving Day, we will be CLOSED so that our staff can enjoy the day with their families. Normal hours will resume on Friday morning at 9:00am.

Notice: Temporary Water Service Interruption

The City of Houston is currently replacing a water service line underneath Beechnut Street. As a result, our restrooms will be without water for the next few hours.

If you are planning to visit today, please plan accordingly. We anticipate water service will be restored later this afternoon.

Summer Is In Full Swing @ MGC

Maintenance Tomorrow:
Tomorrow, we will be closed in the morning to mow the range field. We will re-open around 3:00 pm.

Lighting:
Two nights ago, we had a few of our LED lights go out. Lights are on order and will be replaced as soon as possible. The new ones coming in will also improve the lighting at night, giving you a better experience.

Better Range Ball Quality:
Hopefully by now over the past few months, you have felt a difference in the new range balls. They are a much higher performing golf ball, providing a softer feel and better spin. Giving you that same on the course feel so you play better golf. Turf is in great shape with all the extra rain we have been getting lately. So come out and enjoy the best range balls and turf!

Good Morning,

We will be back on turf this morning. The tee has grown in nicely the past few weeks. Please help us keep the grass in great shape by taking your divots in rows leaving a little grass in between each row. Putting the ball on the back edge of your previous divot will allow for minimal turf removal for each shot. When you are finished, filling in your divots with sand will allow the turf to grow back in level for next rotations play. Thanks for helping us keep the turf in great shape, as proper divot taking allows me to grow grass back fuller and healthier.
