We will conduct a DUI checkpoint within the city limits on Thursday, December 18, between 6 p.m. and 2 a.m. The location has been selected based on DUI crash and arrest statistics.

The National Weather Service is forecasting heavy rain, gusty winds, and possible thunderstorms starting Thursday night through early next week, with the heaviest rainfall expected Saturday.

Huntington Beach and Coastal OC could see:
• 2–2.5 inches of rain
• Wind gusts up to 35–40 mph

City crews are already preparing by monitoring storm conditions, clearing drains, reinforcing sand berms, and responding to downed trees or flooding.

Please drive carefully, avoid flooded intersections, and use extra caution in low-lying areas.
