This week, several of our HBPD women officers joined law enforcement professionals from across California in San Diego for RISE: Women in Policing, a conference focused on connection, leadership, professional development, and learning from others' experiences.

Chief Parra also joined our officers at the event, showing his support for the women who serve our department and the communities we protect.

RISE is about more than a conference. It’s an opportunity to network with other professionals, learn from experts through dynamic, contemporary training, and bring new ideas and perspectives back home.

We’re proud of the women of HBPD who continue to lead, learn, and RISE.
