Basketball players are some of the fastest lacrosse learners we see — the transition game, the give-and-go, even the pick-and-roll all have a direct lacrosse equivalent. Add quick hands for stick skills and court awareness for field awareness, and it's an easy crossover.

Starting lacrosse shouldn’t mean having to figure out everything on Day 1.
That’s why our Wolfpack Stick & Ball program is designed to make getting started simple. New players receive the beginner gear they need to get a stick in their hands and start learning:

💚 A place to learn, play, and become part of the Pack
Boys and girls get equipment selected for new players, so families can focus less on “What do I need to buy?” and more on letting their athlete try the game.
Stick & Ball is where we introduce the fundamentals—catching, throwing, cradling, movement, and most importantly, having fun with a stick in your hands.

🏈➡️🥍 Football players already know how to take a hit and keep moving. Lacrosse takes that toughness and adds a stick.
It's a contact sport that rewards the same physical grit football builds — but layers in hand-eye coordination, quick redirection, and full-field conditioning. Receivers and DBs especially: tracking a lacrosse ball in the air is a lot like tracking a football, just faster.

There’s still time to join the Pack! Stick & Ball is all about learning the game, building confidence, getting more touches, and having FUN with lacrosse. Whether your athlete is brand new or continuing to develop their skills, there’s a place for them with the Wolfpack.

Originally from Pickerington, Ohio, Coach Leah played lacrosse at Capital University and brings valuable playing experience, enthusiasm, and a passion for helping young athletes learn the game.
