Great weekend at Quaker for the final round of Apex Midwest. Finished P2 in the final Sunday and Came home as the Midwest Champion! Thank you Stehle Motorsports and lawsonspeedshop! 📸 Shepard Seibel

Final round of Apex Karting Championships at Quaker City Karting in Salem, OH recap:

This was our first trip to Quaker and Sam quickly learned the track and was up to speed within a couple sessions of practice on Friday. Feeling confident with our setup we were set for Saturday morning qualifying.
Qualified on Pole
Heat 1- 3rd
Heat 2- 2nd
Sam was set to start the pre-final on Sunday in 2nd. He also knew where he needed to finish in order to secure the overall Briggs Senior championship.
After bit of first turn chaos and losing several spots he finished the pre-final in 4th. The final was full of great racing, lead changes, and an untraditional way of crossing the finish line! He and two others touched tires and Sam crossed the finish line by sliding sideways and finishing 2nd!

After all from 3 weekends were tallied, Sam secured the Apex Midwest Briggs Senior Championship!
We can’t thank everyone who follows and supports STR enough! Our Stehle Motorsports Stealth has been a rocket paired with our Lawson Speed Shop engine! Marc and Gary have had the kart and engine dialed in with only the need for Sam to focus on the racing.
