Twenty-five years ago today, our nation stood still.
On September 11, 2001, we lost nearly 3,000 lives, and in the hours that followed, we witnessed extraordinary courage from the first responders who ran toward danger so that others might live.
Today, the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce joins our community in honoring the memory of those we lost, the families who carry that loss still, and the firefighters, law enforcement officers, and service members who continue to answer the call.
We will never forget.
