The season didn't end the way we hoped it would. In the last 3 weeks, Darian developed some knee pain and we switched up to rest and elliptical work to stay in shape. He needed to finish 2nd in his state qualifying races and took 3rd in both. The strength was there. The fight was there. Just hurt to push the pace late in the race.

Still finished the season with the 2nd fastest overall times in his district. Years of being injured on top of that. Shows how much potential this young man has and how much he had to overcome. Looking forward to seeing your progress in college.

Darian ran 4:31 in the 1500 and 10:01 in the 3000. Those convert to 4:48 and 10:44 for 1600 and 3200. Moves him up to 1st in his conference ranking!!!
