The most iconic drag race is the US nationals. Some people spend a year preparing. Jeff Brown drove eight hours and we arrived at midnight. As we pulled into the track we heard a kaboom which was U Bolts on the front axle breaking. in about 12 seconds two guys walked up and said something broke in your axle. Thank you Right Trailers

Automotive students with energy and the ability to share their thoughts won cash because they saw an opportunity to communicate and learn at Riverchase Career Connection Center in Hoover Alabama. Some of Ricky Newton‘s students are going to have careers as an auto technician.
They only know what they know, so I shared my perspective on learning… at any age and the importance to write out their 1 and 5 year plans.
At the Racetrack, you gotta have a target while the front wheel is in the air and you’re trying to go straight at 200mph, same thing to do while in school… identify your target. NHRA ASE Connects Texas Capital Air Show

I was asked to present on how engineering is a vital part and career in Motorsports. Four classes totaling over 200 students with professor Wallace at the University of Alabama Birmingham.  It’s fun to promote the 75th anniversary of drag racing in such a unique landscape.
