Confidence doesn't happen by accidentβ€”it happens one paddle stroke at a time. 🌊

Today I spent the day on Beaver Lake teaching private SUP sessions with Leah, Mandy, and Anna. Each woman came to the water with different goals, different experiences, and different reasons for wanting to paddle.

That's what I love most about private instruction. It's never a one-size-fits-all experience. Every session is customized to meet students where they are, helping them build skills, confidence, and comfort on the water at their own pace.

Whether you're stepping on a paddleboard for the very first time, looking to improve your technique, preparing for bigger adventures, or simply wanting a fun way to move your body outdoors, private sessions provide personalized coaching and support every step of the way.

I offer private sessions in:
πŸ„β€β™€οΈ Stand Up Paddleboarding
πŸ’ͺ PaddleFit
πŸ§˜β€β™€οΈ PaddleFlow
🏊 Open Water Swim

All levels welcome. Safety is always my top priority.

With a longstanding background in competitive swimming, swim instructing/coaching, lifeguarding, water safety, and rescue, my goal is to help every student feel confident, capable, and successful on the water.

Private sessions available weekdays and weekends by request. I primarily teach on Beaver Lake and Lake Sammamish but will travel to other bodies of water throughout the region. Equipment provided as needed.

Spring PaddleFit, Summer Weather β˜€οΈπŸŒŠ From private coaching to group PaddleFit, it was a full day on the water!

I started the day with two private PaddleFit sessions, each tailored to the paddler's individual goals, skill level, and fitness needs πŸ’ͺπŸΌπŸ„β€β™€οΈ

Then it was time for our evening PaddleFit pop-up at Beaver Lake. With the hottest temperatures of the year so far, it felt more like July than early June! We soaked up the sunshine, refined our paddling skills, built strength, and enjoyed a gorgeous evening on the water together.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined me throughout the day. I love helping paddlers build confidence, improve technique, and discover just how much fun fitness on the water can be πŸ’›

Unfortunately, this Saturday's 9AM All Levels PaddleFit class is canceled due to the forecasted thunderstorms. Safety always comes first when it comes to on-water activities.

We'll be back on the water on June 13th! Look forward to paddling with you then!

✨ End of an Era ✨ This week, I closed the doors to One Mind Yoga πŸ’™πŸ’œπŸ©΅πŸ™πŸΌ

Nearly 10 years ago, I took a leap of faith and opened a yoga studio with a simple mission: to help people cultivate a healthy mind, body, and spirit while building a community rooted in encouragement, growth, and connection.

What I never could have imagined was how much that community would change me.

Over the years, I celebrated pregnancies, babies, marriages, retirements, new careers, healing, and fresh starts alongside so many incredible people. I also walked with students through loss, heartbreak, illness, and uncertainty. Somewhere along the way, students became friends, and friends became family.

One Mind Yoga wasn't just a business. It became a home.

My children grew up there too. Zoey (23), Gage (18), and Kylo (7Β½) have all spent countless hours within those walls. Zoey and Gage attended classes, helped behind the scenes, and supported me through every season of entrepreneurship. Kylo's entire life has been connected to OMYβ€”from my pregnancy announcement to the little boy he is today.

For Kylo, One Mind Yoga wasn't just where Mom worked. It was home.

Watching him say goodbye this week was one of the hardest parts of closing this chapter.

As emotional as this transition has been, I keep coming back to one truth:

The studio was never the purpose. The people were.

The relationships.
The community.
The lives touched.
The memories created.

Those things don't disappear because a lease ends.

To my family, my students, my friends, and everyone who supported One Mind Yoga over the last nine yearsβ€”thank you. You helped shape one of the most meaningful chapters of my life.

While the studio has closed, my work continues through , where I'll continue serving communities through paddleboarding, yoga, TRX training, wellness events, retreats, and new collaborations throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond. πŸ„β€β™€οΈπŸŒŠ

The building may be gone, but the impact will stay with me forever β€οΈπŸ™

Memorial Day paddle on Liberty Lake πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ„β€β™€οΈπŸŒ€ After an exciting meeting about a new business opportunity, I got in one final water adventure of the long weekend. It felt like the perfect way to close out a trip filled with new waters, fresh connections, and exciting vision for what’s ahead ✨

I’m looking forward to spending a lot more time paddling here in the near future, as I secured another new summer partnership on this beautiful lake πŸ‘€πŸŒŠ

This entire trip felt like a glimpse into what’s ahead for β€” new lakes, new communities, meaningful connections, and opportunities continuing to unfold in ways I never expected πŸ™ŒπŸΌ

What started as a mobile Stand Up Paddleboard business in Washington is slowly growing into something even bigger, and I’m incredibly excited to see where these next steps lead. Idaho, Eastern Washington… and maybe beyond.

Feeling inspired, motivated, and very grateful for this season of expansion and possibility.

Second Idaho paddle of my Memorial Day Weekend β˜€οΈπŸ„β€β™€οΈ Launching out of Honeysuckle Beach Park, I spent the afternoon exploring new water on Hayden Lake 🌊

There’s something really special about experiencing a new lake... taking in the scenery, feeling out the energy of the water, and imagining all the possibilities that could come with it. Hayden Lake instantly gave me that feeling ✨

Between the beauty of this area, the community, and the opportunities growing in Idaho, I could absolutely see planting roots here in the future too πŸ‘€ Nothing official yet… but sometimes the best things start with a vision and one really good day on the water.

This season is already opening doors I never could have imagined! New waters, new connections, and exciting partnership as I continue growing my mobile Stand Up Paddleboard business throughout Washington and Idaho πŸ™ŒπŸΌ

Memorial Day Weekend reset in Idaho πŸŒ²β˜€οΈ πŸ’¦ Spent the first half of my day paddling on beautiful Lake Coeur d’Alene for the first time in 12 years! It could not have welcomed me back any better… 80Β°, sunshine, and feeling energized by new possibilities, fresh vision, and growth ahead πŸ„β€β™€οΈ

I launched from the North Idaho College beach and paddled over to the CDA Resort, to check out my new paddling location! BIG NEWS πŸ“’ I officially secured a new business partnership there for this summer πŸ™ŒπŸΌ

Summer 2026 is all about expansion for me and 🌊 Taking my mobile Stand Up Paddleboard business beyond Washington and into Idaho, creating more opportunities for people to get on the water, build confidence, move their bodies, and experience the peace that paddling brings.

Just the first paddle of the day… more Idaho lake adventures coming next ✨

Sometimes life brings people back together in the most unexpected ways πŸ’™πŸ„β€β™€οΈβ˜€οΈ

Today I had my first Private SUP Session with Lori on Lake Meridian and honestly… it was so much more than just learning to paddleboard.

Over 15 years ago, we knew each other during a season when life felt heavy and uncertain for both of us. Today, we stood together on the water as two women who have walked through hard things, found healing, rebuilt our lives, and discovered a deeper faith along the way.

Lori came into today with only one past SUP experience that didn’t leave her feeling very confident. By the end of our session, she was standing strong on her board, smiling, paddling confidently, and fully embracing the water 🌊

But my favorite part wasn’t just the paddleboarding. It was the conversation. The reminder that growth, healing, purpose, and faith can completely change the direction of our lives when we keep moving forward.

I’m so proud of the incredible woman and entrepreneur she has become. If you’re in the Kent area and looking for a realtor who truly cares about people, Lori is doing amazing things in her community 🏑✨

Want to experience your own private session on the water? Whether you’re brand new, rebuilding confidence, or simply looking for a personalized experience, I’d love to support you on your journey 🌊

I offer private sessions in:
