Ed Austin Regional parkrun - Event number 199 - 6th June 2026:

Somewhat benign conditions this week, as 76 people ran, jogged and walked the course. We had NO Tourists, but a whopping 12 first timers - great to have you, please join us again! 7 Junior participants and a barkwalker also joined the fray, and Kim BARROWS treated us to FROZEN popsicles yet again - thank you!

It was Ward SHAE's 25th Milestone parkrun today, and he celebrated it in style by setting a new PB for good measure - congratulations on BOTH achievements! He was one of a total of 8 parkrunners who bested their mark. The other 7 were: Scott REVELS, Vincent LEADLEY, Emma FRASURE, Xenia CAMSMITH, Kelly TOMSON, Rima GANDHI, and Katie CLANCEY. Great job, y'all!

First Timers dominated the sporting side today, with new-to-Jacksonville Andrew SOWINSKI crossing the line in 21:23, while Petite STALLION did the same on the Ladies' side, with a time of 24:12. Congratulations to them both, great way to start your parkrun careers (even though Andrew did ONE parkrun before, already three years ago up north... so we'll count that as a re-start!)!

The male record is held by Bradley MANKUS who recorded a time of 15:59 on 21st December 2024 (event number 121)
The female record is held by Avery HARTLEY who recorded a time of 17:56 on 16th March 2024 (event number 81).
The Age Grade course record is held by Avery HARTLEY who recorded 89.03% (17:56) on 16th March 2024 (event number 81).

Ed Austin Regional parkrun started on 17th September 2022. Since then 1,772 participants have completed 9,160 parkruns covering a total distance of 45,800 km, including 1,513 new Personal Bests. A total of 184 individuals have volunteered 2,571 times.
