Growing up on a farm in Western Kentucky near “Land between the Lakes” and later moving to Jacksonville Florida to pursue his career in the electrical industry, provided Bill Gilliam plenty of opportunities to hunt, fish and spend time outdoors. Over the years, his passion for hunting continued to grow and he began to think how he could dedicate more time to the sports and outdoors. Over the next

few years, word started to spread about the incredible knowledge, attention to detail, and outstanding customer service it provided. Today, Affordable Arms & Archery has a following that reaches throughout the southeast and has outgrown its current location. Renovations are underway and Affordable Arms & Archery will soon take on a new name and look. Although we are expanding, we vow to continue to provide the same customer service that our customers have come to know and expect. The Southern Sportsman Outlet located in the heart of Jacksonville, FL on the Arlington Expressway, is proud to offer the following products and services to the Jacksonville area!

• Southern Sportsman Outlet is Jacksonville’s premier archery location! Featuring a state of the art pro shop which will include a customization and repair center. The Pro Shop also offer a wide variety of archery products from the best names in the industry including: Hoyt, Prime, Bear, Karnage, Trophy Ridge, Easton, Rage, and many more!

• Southern Sportsman Outlet is home to a 8 lane indoor archery range along with a spacious outdoor 3D target range. Daily, monthly, and annual range memberships will be available. Monthly tournaments, leagues, instructional classes and seminars will be offered for all ages.

• Southern Sportsman Outlet will offer weekly CCW classes taught by our Certified NRA instructor that meets the requirements for the Florida Concealed Carry Permit application.
