Well with the threat of rain it looks like most of our local races stayed home but to those of you that came out we had a fun night and learned these losi NASCARs are tuff and race great in wet weather.

We got the track dryer and was setting up the barriers and at 630 the sky’s started to drizzle, at this point we was going to dry it back up and racers started pulling out their NASCARs with slick and treads. Slicks was the way to go but as the drizzle kept falling the track got wetter and it was apparent if we was going to race, it was going to be a treaded tire night. Everyone wanted to keep racing, so we made up the races and moved into 1st round with stock nascar and rwyb.

By the end of mains after 2 heats and mains were done, it was unanimous everybody had the most fun at a rc race, that they had in a while.

I as a track owner want to give a big thanks to horizon and losi for coming up with a great product that races great in dry weather, concrete, carpet, dirt, and in the rain. If you e ever been on the fence about buying one of these NASCARs. There is nothing they can’t do.

Even though it’s raining now at the track, it looks like the rain will be gone by 5 to 5:30. We will try to get everything dry and if no other storm comes in tonight, we will still be able to race by 7:30. We will put the truck together around five hopefully have it ready for practice at six Racing at 7:30 PM tonight for on road outdoor Racing.

Who’s ready for the Bolt-On triple crown series. 3 tracks in 2 days at Bolt-On rc speedway. November 21st and 22nd, We will race outdoor super speedway, then switch to outdoor on-road both on Saturday then Sunday we will race the indoor oval. Each class will receive its own points. It takes a total of all 3 races to be eligible for the title. Trophies to top 3 in each class for over all. We will also have the clean sweep award if any person wins same class all 3 tracks. There will be raffles and give aways during the entire weekend. There will be overnight parking and trailer space available.

For this month of October (breast cancer awareness month)for our oval races only we will have a contest for best looking pink car of any class winner gets a free body of there choice for any class we race. Note same painted body can’t win both Sunday races. Our first contest will be October Sunday the 11th and second will be October Sunday the 25th. Get those bodies out and see if you can take home a new clear body of choice.

Friday night October 30th we will have outdoor on-road racing and the monster dash will be held. The biggest class for the night will be top 3 payback for $100 to the 1st, $50 to 2nd, and $25 for 3rd in the main event. So don’t miss out on getting those cars ready and get set to take home some money.

Also remember kids come to race and watch so we will have candy to give away, and if y’all want to have candy ready at y’all’s tables it can be a trick or treat for the kiddos. Let’s have fun with this.

This weekends racing at Bolt-On rc speedway is Friday night outdoor on-road, then Saturday morning is crawler comp, then we will be racing and supporting exoplex and there concrete oval Saturday afternoon. Don’t miss out on the race action this weekend
