You never know where you’ll run into your martial arts instructor! 😄
One of the best parts of being an instructor is seeing students outside the Dojahng. Whether it’s at Costco, the grocery store, a restaurant, a ball game, or just around town, it’s always fun to hear, “Hi, Mr. Armstrong!”
Sometimes I spot a student before they see me—and it’s always great watching their face light up when they realize we’ve crossed paths. Those moments remind me that we’re more than just a martial arts school. We’re a family.
The goal of training isn’t just to become better on the mats. It’s to become a better person everywhere you go. When I see our students being respectful, polite, and confident in the community, I know the lessons from the Dojahng are making a difference.
Thank you to all of our students and families for representing yourselves, your families, and Kalispell ATA Martial Arts with pride. I’m always proud to call you my students.
Always Be Working. Together We Go Farther. 🥋

🎉🥋 Happy Birthday, Gavin! 🥋🎉
One of our favorite traditions at Kalispell ATA Martial Arts is celebrating birthdays together on the mats!
When a student comes to class on their birthday, they don’t just get a “Happy Birthday”—they get to break real wooden boards, everyone sings to them, and we celebrate as one big martial arts family.
This year, Gavin made the day even more special by bringing cupcakes for everyone to enjoy after class. Thank you, Gavin, for sharing your birthday with all of us!
Moments like these remind us that our school is about so much more than kicks, punches, and belts. It’s about building friendships, creating memories, and being part of a family that supports and celebrates one another.
Happy Birthday, Gavin! We hope this year is filled with confidence, success, and many more milestones on and off the mat. We are proud to have you as part of our ATA family!
🥋🎂 Nothing says “Happy Birthday” like breaking boards with your martial arts family! 🎂🥋

🎉🥋 Happy Birthday, Gavin! 🥋🎉
Everyone at Kalispell ATA Martial Arts would like to wish Gavin a very Happy Birthday! 🎂
Gavin is an ATA Tiger Choa Belt (Purple Belt Decided) who has been training with us for over a year and a half. During that time, he has shown great determination, a positive attitude, and a willingness to challenge himself.
He’s already stepped onto the tournament floor to compete and continues to build his confidence through sparring. We are proud of the hard work he puts into every class and the progress he continues to make on his martial arts journey.
Keep working hard, setting goals, and having fun on the mat. We can’t wait to see all that you’ll accomplish in the years ahead!
🎂 Happy Birthday, Gavin! We hope you have an amazing day celebrating with your family and friends!
❤️🖤 Always Be Working.
