🏀 WELCOME TO THE DREAM FAMILY, COACH EM! 🏀

We want to officially welcome Coach Emily Rank to the KC Dream family!

Coach Em continues to establish herself as one of the best young basketball minds in the Kansas City area, with a passion for developing athletes and helping them reach their full potential.

While Coach Em has the knowledge and ability to coach at every level, she has devoted much of her time to developing middle school athletes and building the foundation they need to be successful as they grow in the game.

She comes to KC Dream with that same mindset and will play an important role in helping us continue to build, develop, and strengthen our younger groups.

We’re extremely excited to have Coach Em join our staff and can’t wait to see the impact she makes on our athletes and our program.

Welcome to the Dream, Coach Em! 💭🏀

We want to take the time to welcome the newest member of our program. Phobe Pflumm, a dynamic and skilled sophomore guard with a ton of potential. We look forward to being a part of your development.

We want to take a moment to recognize two of our athletes who earned recognition from the Select Events S40/P24 League this season! 🏀⭐️

Payton Lewis and Ja’Kyla Wright caught the attention of opposing coaches and circuit staff, earning recognition as two of the standout players in the league.

Our team is FULL of talented athletes, but at this level, consistency is key. Payton and Ja’Kyla continued to show up, compete, and make their presence felt throughout the season—and their work did not go unnoticed.

Congratulations, Payton Lewis and Ja’Kyla Wright! Keep working. Keep competing. Keep representing DREAM! 💪🏾💙

Chicago, thank you for your hospitality and for all the incredible memories we made while visiting your amazing city.

Our girls competed with heart and overcame every challenge they faced throughout this season. We couldn’t be prouder of the resilience, toughness, and growth they displayed every step of the way.

To our parents, thank you for your patience, support, and unwavering commitment to our program. Your sacrifices and belief in these young athletes have helped make this season a success.

To our players, remember that every game, every practice, and every challenge was another opportunity to grow. This season was another important step in your development, and we’re excited to see where your hard work takes you next. Keep working, stay hungry, and continue striving to be the best version of yourselves. We’ll continue pushing you to reach your full potential.

Until next spring and summer… thank you for an unforgettable season.

Great job, girls! 💛🖤

Our 2026 spring/summer defined what it meant to battle through adversity. Plagued by injuries occurring during high school seasons, we played more than half of our season with 5/6 girls. The girls never complained they just locked in and played harder. Girls stepped up until we were able to get healthy late in the season. This was our first year playing on Select 40 and we were able to be one of the top teams and advance to Power 24. Winning some games mean you do things right sometimes. Teams that win often mean they do things more often. Teams that rarely lose games have to do a lot of things right and on a consistent basis. That alone is something to be proud of. 37-5 this summer and a top 10 finish on the top independent circuit around. Great job this year girls but we have so much work to do. Coming back better than ever.
